Meet Kelli, the author of Run Happy Eat Happy.

I began my running journey through middle school 12552578_10153355883697654_7435790024251605173_n-1
cross country. I loved every second of it but saw it as only conditioning for basketball at the time. Throughout my high school years, I started running for fun and it really sparked my interest in training for races. In April 2010, I ran my first 5k and won first place in the Overall Womens’ Division. That first race motivated me to continue my passion for running and later run my first 10k in 2013, my first half marathon in 2015 and my first marathon in 2015.

  1. Nice blog Kelli! Am just getting back into running after a long break. Will definitely follow your blog for ideas and motivation 🙂 I’ve got my first 5K coming up on 17th Jan! Still a long way to train for the marathon in Sept!
